Last month to celebrate the Marie magazine, Maria Rodarte hosted a Marie Antoinette canvas swap. Though I don't usually participate in swaps I joined this one.
I was paired with Heather of Speckled Egg, and this is what I sent her. She doesn't have it yet, as we both were late in sending our canvases. It's also not what we were called to do, but I was happy to see that Heather too is a rule~breaker and clearly went with what suites us creatively. Here's what is fast on it's way to her...

Dede, what a gorgeous canvas! I did get a copy of the Marie mag, and It is so gorgeous! Your work looks amazing in print! I have been thinking of creating some sort of mixed media art on a canvas I found in the garage while cleaning up. I need something on the bare wall in my living room, so I think I'm gonna try!
